This year I did not make any New Year’s resolutions. The last thing I needed was another promise to never eat bread or to work out more.

So instead of a resolution, I decided take dance lessons and make an effort to spend more time with friends and loved ones. This year, I want to have more fun while improving my mind, my soul and my body.  My new motto is to “Learn, Grow and Improve”. Maybe it’s my old hippy soul coming out, maybe I have just reached an age where you come to terms with yourself and realize you just want to enjoy life as much as possible. Whatever the reason, I am enjoying this journey much more than the gym!

I think you will see this transformation flow over in my work here on the farm too. We are bringing in some new classes and improving on some old favorites. New in February you will see Mommy and Me Yoga! What better way to experience the benefits of yoga then in the beautiful setting of our Farm and Garden Center? Along with Yoga, we will still have some of our old favorites such as Terrariums, Succulent and Herb Gardens as well as Cooking with Judi, Essential Oils and Birding Classes. Watch for more children’s classes in the Spring and I am very excited to say that coming soon, we will be introducing you to the magical art of Bonsai!

I love to learn new things and I hope we can share these ideas with you. So keep your eye on our new and improved website; watch for changes on our calendar and join us for our events and classes. We have a lot to share- all of it fun and good for the soul!
