Linvilla Orchards share a passion for the tasks that are accomplished here everyday. We do what we love and we love what we do. We want to share our love of gardening, building, growing and teaching with you! All of our classes are always fun, informative and geared towards the whole family. Join us as we share our knowledge in seasonal subjects such as Backyard Birding, Shade Gardening, Pesky Garden Pests, Lawn Maintenance and Management and Caring for Vegetable plants, herbs and fruit trees as well as hands-on classes like Build Your Own Terrarium and Gardening with Children. Every month, we carefully put together a calendar of classes that we know you'll love!
Cooking with Judi Friday, June 1st at 5pm

Succulent Wreath Saturday, June 2nd at 10am
We will help you to assemble a beautiful 6” grapevine wreath with your choice of colorful succulents. Larger wreaths and upgrades are available.

Gardening with Children Saturday, June 9th at 10am
Miss Marcia is at it again and this time she will be exploring different leaves and flower shapes. You will be making your very own sun catcher. Perfect for ages 5 and up but, all are welcome. This class is free, but please call (610) 876-7116 to register so we can have enough supplies for everyone!
Smokin’ with the Boys Sunday, June 17th at 10am
Learn the secrets to smoking great meats and other side dishes. Smokewood Steve will teach you different techniques and tips as well as cover what types of wood to use. Class is free, but please (610) 876-7116 to register. Participants will enjoy samples made in the class.
Build Your Own Terrarium or Fairy Garden Saturday, June 23rd at 10am
We supply everything you need to build your own beautiful terrarium. You can choose from a variety of containers and plants and our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the whole process. History and Archaeology in a Bag Wednesday, June 27th at 10am
This is our first installment of Linvilla Orchard’s Summer Time Science & Nature program. Students are introduced to the world of an archaeologist through a collection of prehistoric and historic artifacts, maps, tools and hands-on laboratory work. Activities can be adapted to highlight fieldwork, laboratory practices or mapping skills. This class is hosted by the Delaware County Historical Society. Please call (610) 876-7116 to register. Story Time & Craft
Join us every Tuesday at 10am as a member of our staff reads an entertaining story featuring gardens, farming, animals and nature! Children can also create a special craft each week! Meet in our Garden Center. Especially for preschoolers, but your entire family is welcome to join us. No charge. Rain or Shine. No Registration required.
Cooking with Judi
Cooking with Judi has become a favorite of our guests and employees alike. Each month, Judi comes up with the most mouth-watering recipes that are not only good for you, but easy to duplicate! She creates a whole meal from appetizer to dessert that corresponds to the season or an upcoming holiday or festivity. Being influenced by her mother, her family and her friends, she is able to put together a meal that you can make in your own kitchen with simple ingredients, many of which are available in our Farm Market. Make it a girls' night out, a casual date night, or just a reason to get out of the house and do something different for a change. Which ever reason you choose, remember to come hungry! Come see why this is the most popular class we offer! We supply everything you need to build your own beautiful terrarium. You can choose from a variety of containers and plants and our knowledgeable Garden Center staff will guide you through the whole process. Gardening with Children
Every month, Miss Marcia digs deep into a different area of nature. She inspires children and their parents/ care takers to explore their surroundings. She encourages them to learn how plants grow, the importance of worms to our earth, how to keep our featured friends who don't fly South warm for the winter and the necessity of bees. Every class is hands on and, more importantly, fun for the family! With each class, the children will participate in a fun activity or create a project that will help them better understand the lesson Miss Marcia is discussing!
Story Time & Craft

This class is geared more for preschoolers, but your entire family is welcome to join us. We meet in the Garden Center, rain or shine. There is never a fee!
