Statement from Linvilla on COVID-19

The Linvill Family and Staff are committed to our community and doing our part to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). As we move into the yellow phase of reopening Pennsylvania; the health and safety of our employees, guests, animals and community continue to remain top priority.

As part of our commitment to your health and well-being our staff is bagging most of our fruits and vegetables to minimize exposure. Linvilla has also executed a rigorous cleaning and sanitizing schedule disinfecting all surfaces, shopping carts and baskets. Hand sanitizer stations have been in place and is available to our guests throughout the property.  While visiting we are requiring all guests to wear a mask.  We are also asking where at all possible to please limit your shopping to one family member per household.

At this time, our Farm Market is open daily 11 am – 5 pm (10 am – 11 am reserved shopping for seniorsto continue to serve our loyal customers. We are monitoring and limiting the amount of customers in our store for safe shopping.  We have also implemented a Delivery & Curbside pickup service to assist in all your shopping needs. Any customer within a 5-mile radius of our store is eligible for our delivery service and we will deliver anything you would like from our Market.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 6, 2020: As we move into the yellow phase; we want to share with you the changes that will be coming with our Farm Market Curbside & Delivery Service:

  • Our daily hours will be changing to 9 am – 6 pm; 9 am – 10 am reserved for seniors.  We will continue to monitor how many customers are in the store and will require all visitors to wear a mask.  
  • We will not longer be offering same day service for Curbside & Delivery.  Orders must be placed by 3 pm the day prior to your pickup / delivery.  
  • Delivery services will not be available on Saturdays & Sundays.
  • A service charge of $5 will be implemented for each curbside order. 
  • The delivery charge will increase to $10 for each order.  

Our Garden Center Yard is open daily 11 am – 5 pm (10 am – 11 am reserved shopping for seniors) for open air outdoor shopping.  Vegetable plants, trees, annuals, perennials, bagged mulch & soils along with all your other gardening essentials are available for purchase.  The Garden Center has also implemented a Delivery & Curbside service to assist you in gardening needs.  Bulk Compost & Garden Soil Deliveries are also available.

Fishing is open for limited hours and by pre-registration only.  No walk-in’s will be permitted.  We are limiting it to 70 fishermen per day with no spectators allowed.  See our fishing page for more details.

Ship Bottom Beer Garden will reopen on Saturday June 6, 2020; 12 pm – 6 pm.  It will be open Saturday’s & Sunday’s weather depending.  They will have a social distance program and contact-less environment in place for your safety.  Visit our Beer Garden Page for more information.

Effective immediately; we have made the following tough decisions to ensure your safety. As much as we would like to continue business as usual, we recognize that it’s not worth the risk and it is better to be safe than sorry.

• Our Playground is closed until further notice.
• Our Grounds to visit the animals is closed until further notice.
• Strawberry Festival May 30, 2020 – CANCELLED
• Summer Food Truck Festival June 20, 2020 – CANCELLED
• All Classes are cancelled until further notice.
• Train Rides are closed until further notice.
• Pony Rides are cancelled for the Spring season.
• Hayrides are cancelled until further notice.
• Face Painting is closed until further notice.
