Spring is in full swing at Linvilla Orchards, and there’s no better time to celebrate the beauty of our planet than during our annual Earth Day celebration. This year is extra special as we celebrate 15 seasons of our Garden Center, and we’re inviting our community to join us for a weekend filled with education, inspiration, and hands-on experiences.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting to explore sustainable living, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Meet the Bees with Warren Graham
One of the highlights of our Earth Day celebration is a visit from Warren Graham, a 5th-generation beekeeper who maintains several apiaries right here on the farm.
Warren will be hosting live demonstrations throughout the day, sharing his knowledge about the vital role honeybees play in our ecosystem and how we can all support pollinators at home.
Guests will also have the unique opportunity to view a working observation hive, allowing kids (and adults!) to safely get an up-close look at honeybees in action. It’s an unforgettable, educational experience that brings the magic of the orchard to life.
Composting with Kitchen Harvest
We’re excited to welcome Chris from Kitchen Harvest, who will be leading educational discussions on composting and sustainability.
Learn how simple changes at home can make a big impact—like diverting food scraps from landfills and turning them into nutrient-rich compost. Chris will walk guests through easy, practical ways to start composting right in your own kitchen.
At Linvilla, composting is a key part of how we care for our land, and we’re proud to share that knowledge with our community.
