Today, as I walked out of my house I noticed that my Lilacs were in bloom. My heart and mind immediately were flooded with memories of my mom. Lilacs seemed like an annual spring event when I was growing up. I remember cutting large bouquets with mom as she would encourage me to put my whole face in there and smell their intoxicating fragrance. We would fill the house with vases overflowing with these purple beauties. It seemed as if we had so many that you could smell their perfume wafting through every room. As a special treat my mom would always reward me with my very own small bouquet for my room.
These memories are so very special to me. Mother’s days have changed throughout the years. From picking flowers with my mom, to home-made cards and gifts from my boys. And although my hand-made gift days are over, I have new ways of celebrating Mother’s Day. Takeout food with my mother-in-law or just hanging with my boys are usually the new annual favorites. But, whatever the day brings for me I am certain my Mother’s Day will be filled with love, lots of memories and lilacs; lots and lots of lilacs!

Bring your mom, your wife, your girlfriends or just yourself to this Special Mother’s Day event that we have put together with our friends from Untapped Artistry. Be ready for an evening of fun with friends, family, painting, wine and snacks! We have limited spots available, simply follow this link to reserve your spot. For $35, all materials are included to paint your choice of 2 Wine Glasses. This event is B.Y.O.B. (Wine Only) and light snacks will be served.

Succulent Wreath Class is Saturday, May 19th at 10am. We will help you to assemble a beautiful 6” grapevine wreath with your choice of colorful succulents. Larger wreaths and upgrades are available. Please call (610) 876-7116 to register. Fee $25
Build Your Own Terrarium or Fairy Garden Class is Saturday May 26th at 10am. We supply everything you need to build your own beautiful terrarium. You can choose from a variety of containers and plants and our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the whole process. Fairy garden figures are sold separately. This class fills up quickly so please be sure to call ahead and register (610) 876-7116 to ensure you have a spot.
