What to know

Linvilla Orchards share a passion for the tasks that are accomplished here everyday.  We do what we love and we love what we do.  We want to share our love of gardening, building, growing and teaching with you!  All of our classes are always fun, informative and geared towards the whole family.  Join us as we share our knowledge in seasonal subjects such as Backyard Birding, Shade Gardening, Pesky Garden Pests, Lawn Maintenance and Management and Caring for Vegetable plants, herbs and fruit trees as well as hands-on classes like Build Your Own Terrarium and Gardening with Children.  Every month, we carefully put together a calendar of classes that we know you'll love!

Cooking with Judi

Cooking with Judi has become a favorite of our guests and employees alike.  Each month, Judi comes up with the most mouth-watering recipes that are not only good for you, but easy to duplicate!  She creates a whole meal from appetizer to dessert that corresponds to the season or an upcoming holiday or festivity.  Being influenced by her mother, her family and her friends, she is able to put together a meal that you can make in your own kitchen with simple ingredients, many of which are available in our Farm Market.  Make it a girls' night out, a casual date night, or just a reason to get out of the house and do something different for a change.  Which ever reason you choose, remember to come hungry! Call to register (610) 876-7116.

Gardening with Children

Every month, Miss Marcia digs deep into a different area of nature.  She inspires children and their parents/ care takers to explore their surroundings.  She encourages them to learn how plants grow, the importance of worms to our earth, how to keep our featured friends who don't fly South warm for the winter and the necessity of bees.  Every class is hands on and, more importantly, fun for the family!  With each class, the children will participate in a fun activity or create a project that will help them better understand the lesson Miss Marcia is discussing!

Story Time & Craft

Join us every Tuesday as Miss Marcia reads an entertaining story featuring gardens, farming, animals and nature! Children can also create a special craft each week! This class is geared more for preschoolers, but your entire family is welcome to join us.  We meet in the Garden Center, rain or shine.  There is never a fee!
